Barbara Gale Kuykendall passed away August 28, 2025 in Vandervoort, Arkansas. She was born on January 21, 1962 in Mena, Arkansas to Elton Doyle Barrett and Shirley Christell Milam Barrett. She loved to go cruising and work on her farm. She enjoyed crafting, baking and watching her grandchildren play sports. Gale loved her animals and birds, especially hummingbirds. Going to the casino was a definite favorite pass time. Gale was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend to so many. She is survived by her son, Victor Kuykendall and wife Tracy; daughters, Shana Fuquay and husband Mickey, Bobbie Sue Hinsley and husband Darrell, Valerie Cureton; grandchildren, Gavin Ralls and wife Jade, Dayton Ralls and fiancé Kelcy, Megan Kuykendall, Braylen Ralls, Adan Garcia, Bryce Cureton, Kacey Kuykendall, Carter Cureton, Harper Cureton; brothers, Bill Barrett and wife Sandy, Dwight Barrett and wife Darla; sister, Frances Jewell and husband Keith; niece, Amy Martin and Lance Wright; son-in-law, Jamie Ralls; special friends, Terrie Harold and David Ward; a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends too numerous to mention. She is preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Shirley Scott, Doc Barrett; daughter, Monica Ralls; sisters, Peggy Sherrouse, and Eileen Tuttle. A graveside service for Ms. Kuykendall will be Saturday, August 30th, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Witherspoon Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 29th, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers for Ms. Kuykendall will be Gavin Ralls, Dayton Ralls, Braylen Ralls, Adan Garcia, Koty Martin, and Trevan Cureton. Honorary Pallbearers are her Lady Hornet Basketball team members. Brother Don Youngblood will be officiating under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
