Barbara "Lu" Osolinski

Barbara " Lu" Osolinski, 83 years old, of Wake Forest, formerly of Perth Amboy, NJ, passed away on February 16, 2025. Barbara was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on September 16, 1941, to the late Arthur and Josephine May Whitley.
Lu was a devout Catholic, who enjoyed watching EWTN Catholic TV. She was kind, loved her family, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed going to the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore, fishing with her husband on their boat, and spending time walking her dogs.
Lu was predeceased by her husband, Richard Osolinski, Sr.; her brother, Arthur "Bosco" Whitley, Jr.; her granddaughter, Courtney Lynn Osolinski; her grandson, Wayne Barlow; and her step grandson, Joseph Wands.
Those left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Christine Barlow and her husband Troy Barlow of Deltona, FL. Their daughter Lisa Olson, her husband Joshua and Lisa's four children, Richard Osolinski and his partner Kimberly Groff Patterson with stepson PJ Patterson of Ringgold, VA and step son James Patterson, his wife Natalie Jones Patterson and son, Richard's daughter Heather Novello Tagliareni, her husband Anthony and their two children, Richard's former wife Donna Osolinski, and children: Step-Son Steven Wands, his wife Carmela and their two sons. Richard Osolinski, III and his wife Connie, Jessica Osolinski, Cassandra Osolinski, Christopher Osolinski. Courtney's two children, Michele Osolinski of Wake Forest, NC, and Joseph Osolinski, former wife Amy Jo Mikesh, and their daughter Stella Ann Osolinski of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 12-2pm at Bright Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm.
