Barbara Peacock Obituary
Funeral: 12 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023, in Greenwood Chapel, with a reception to follow in the Courtyard Reception Room.
Devoted wife. Fiercely loyal to her children. Loving grandmother. Trustworthy friend. Supportive and loving, she lived her faith in ways that reflected God's love for all of us. Her living faith showed In small ways like giving three gifts at Christmas to reflect the Nativity and big ways by loving us through mistakes and hardship, always forgiving and encouraging. She sought harmony for our extended families and made a priority of staying in touch. Her notes and letters were grace filled, beautifully written and thoughtful. Her work, her art revealed a heart that saw the beauty in light and color. Her talent, God's gift, had her seeking to soften and beautify any scene to uplift a beholder - a reflection of her loving attitude. She was tender and kind, quick to emotion. In her recent struggles, she revealed a toughness of spirit that was inspiring. Her body gave up before her spirit did. She was in weakness a study in strength. Unflinching and ready for the next things coming. Mom was an example of quiet strength and dignity. She leaves us all with hearts full of love.
