Barbara Ann Ramirez

Barbara Ann Ramirez was born in Bend, Oregon on October 21, 1939, to Gerald and LaVene Reece.
Barbara celebrated her 71st wedding anniversary with the love of her life, Pedro Ramirez, last April 17, 2025.
Pete and Barbara enjoyed traveling. Their family of five traveled a lot together because Pete was in the US Air Force. Barbara became an expert at packing up the household to move almost every two years.
Retirement from the Air Force brought them back to the town where they first met each other, Oakridge, Oregon.
Retired life found them traveling for recreation (49 of 50 states) and for medical missions (to the Philippines multiple times).
When Barbara was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, she bravely took on the debilitating effects of the condition without wavering in her trust and love for her husband, Pete.
They fought the daily battles of Parkinson's Disease side-by-side for over a decade with many family members helping them.
Barbara is survived by her husband Pete, sister Rose, brother Tom, sisters-in-law Helen and Gregoria, her three children Ricardo, Ramona, Roberto, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Special thanks to the Reece family for having regular family reunions and keeping in touch.
Also, the Saavadra family for keeping close with medical missions/trips.
