Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that Sister Beasley "grandma Beasley" to us, passed away. I just got her Christmas card returned to me "deceased " return to sender. I sent her a card every year for the past 30 years. I served in the Oregon Eugene mission from Aug 1993-March 1995. I served in Oakridge during the summer of 1994. I loved working with Brother & Sister Beasley in the branch during that time. I was there when Dick had his stoke, it was so scary. I watched as she took care of him and the progress he made little by little. I remember they drove us into Springfield one weekend and we stopped by Dairy Queen, we got ice cream, and I broke a tooth from the cold. They were there when I got "Dear Jane'd" from my missionary. They were so sweet and supportive. My parents came to pick me up after my mission, we stayed the night at their house. I came back in the summer of 1996, after my boyfriend & I got engaged at Crater Lake, they were the first to find out. We came back in 2003, I brought my 2 oldest kids to meet Grandma Beasley. We love her so much. Wish I came back to visit more often. Praying for peace & comfort for her family. Thankful for eternal families and she can be with grandpa Beasley again.

I have known LaVerne since the mid 1960's and was a close friend of her son, Paul. She was one of the sweetest, nicest, kindest people I have had the privilege to know and I am so sorry to hear she is gone. I will miss her and our bi-yearly calls checking up on each other. A bright and beautiful light has been dimmed and the world is a little less kind and good with her departing. I will miss her.

My aunt always had a smile on her face and was willing to tell you a family story. She liked talking to you face to face even if it was FaceTimeing. She is with a lot of love ones now. Debbie Fassel ( niece)
