Barbara M. Sullivan

March 25, 2025, at the age of 75.
Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Elia & Charles Butera, whom she faithfully cared for until they were called home.
She is survived by her adoring husband of 56 years, Jerry Sullivan, whom she diligently supported through his recovery from a traumatic brain injury, never once leaving his side.
She is also survived by her pride and joy - her children, Denise (David) Hershey, Jerry (Meghan) Sullivan & Chuck (Jenna) Sullivan; and grandchildren, Aidan, Elianna, & Asher Hershey, Matthew, Grace, Sydney & Samuel Sullivan, and Sadie, Jaycee, Joshua & Judah Sullivan. She is survived by her loving brother Charles (Beth) Butera, who brought her along on many memorable adventures; as well as several lovely nieces.
Barbara was utterly devoted to her family and enjoyed nothing more than preparing and sharing a huge meal with her loved ones. If her family could gather at their treasured lake house on Keuka, it was an added bonus. Tradition was important to her and she valued passing those traditions onto her children and grandchildren. Barbara had a gift of hospitality, frequently opening her home to friends and bible studies. Shopping was considered an endurance sport for Barbara and she was known to never pass up a good deal. Above all else, Barbara was fiercely loyal and loved her people deeply, sacrificially, and wholly.
Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Sunday, March 30th from 2-5 PM at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster.
On Monday, March 31st, a Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM at Northridge Church, 780 Salt Road, Webster, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester.
