Barb graduated from West High School class of 1960. She attended Rock Valley College. Barb married Gary D. Tresemer on June 18, 1960 in Rockford, IL. Barbara retired in 2013 from UPS after 19 years. Barbara enjoyed sightseeing and traveling around Northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
Survivors include: Husband Gary; son Tom, Matt (Stephanie) and Mike (Sherri); nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother Bruce Smith; sister Shari Kaiser; numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and one great grandchild.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McCorkle Funeral Home- Durand Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Durand, IL. Cremation Rites to be accorded with final resting place to Laona Township Cemetery.
