Barbara was a woman whose heart knew no bounds. Her life was a testament to the power of love, as she embraced her roles as a wife to her beloved husband John Waite, a mother to her daughters Theresa Post and Loretta Carbone, a mother-in-law to James Post and Joseph Carbone, and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and guiding them with an unwavering spirit.
Her professional life was spent in service to her country, working diligently for the Department of Defense. Barbara's commitment to her work was paralleled only by her commitment to her family. She took great pride in balancing her professional responsibilities with her roles as a mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Barbara is survived by her husband, John Waite; her daughters, Theresa Post and Loretta Carbone; sons-in-law, James Post and Joseph Carbone; her beloved grandchildren, Lauren Benner (Bud), Amanda Friedman (Paul), Jennifer Post, Alex Post, Joseph Carbone, III, and Lindsey Elbanna (Abood); and her adored great-grandchildren, Anna, Wesley, Lucy, Owen, Isla, and Jeremy. She also leaves behind her brothers, Michael Williams (Mary Lou) and Joe Williams (Chris), who will miss her deeply.
