Barbara Ann Watts, 62, a lifelong resident of Williamsport, PA, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at her daughter's residence in Mifflinburg, PA.
Barb was born on February 17, 1962, in Williamsport, PA. She was the daughter of the late Theodore H. Emerick and Marilyn Y. Eckroth Robson of Williamsport, PA.
Barb graduated from Williamsport High School, class of 1980. After school, she worked in manufacturing at Wundie's.
Barb was funny, feisty, hardheaded, stubborn, and hardworking.
She enjoyed socializing, camping, concerts, and music. She also loved animals, gardening, planting flowers, coffee, and cooking. She also enjoyed watching soap operas, horror movies, and paranormal shows.
But her true joys came from her family and helping others. If someone was in need, she was there, a beacon of support.
She was a great mother to her kids and grandchildren.
Everyone called her for her recipes or to ask how to make something. She was the family mom, a rescuer, and Miss Fix It.
Barb was always very independent. She was a fighter to her last breath.
Barb is survived by her son Nathan L. Watts of Jersey Shore, PA., her daughter Nicole Y. (Troy Sauers) Watts of Mifflinburg, PA.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dominic Watts and Stavanna Watts, both of Jersey Shore, PA., and Gunnar D. Sauers of Mifflinburg, PA.
Also surviving Barb is her fiance, Edward L. Mutchler of South Williamsport, PA. Her brothers William H. Emerick of Williamsport and Robert (Kim) Emerick of Williamsport, PA. And her sister Sarah (Ron) Bubb of Montoursville, PA.
In addition to her late parents, Barb is preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Grafius of Williamsport, PA.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation for Barb on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 5 to 7 PM at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Pastor Mark Snyder will officiate.
