Barbara Weis Obituary
Beloved wife of 61 years to Albert J. Weis; loving mother to Daniel Weis and Donna (John) Sotos; cherished grandma of Rena Sotos; dear sister to the late Jack Motta; sister-in-law to Katheleen (the late John) Jacilla and Patricia (Frank) Serio; and aunt to Frank A. Serio and Roseanne (Christopher) Kopacz.
Barbara was a passionate fan of the White Sox and the New York Mets. She had a love for gardening, cooking, crocheting, country music, the occasional trip to the casino to play the penny slots, and spoiling her only granddaughter. Her happiest moments were found in Bonita Springs, Florida, where she spent her time tanning at the pool and going to the beach. She was greatly loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – THE AHLGRIM CHAPEL, 567 South Spring Road, Elmhurst.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be written in Barbara's name to the American Stroke Association.
