Barbara Westover Obituary
Barbara retired from Plattsburgh State University College where she worked for 20 years. She loved her job and co-workers and always knew how to have a good time, even at work.
Barbara was very much involved with volunteering at the Beekmantown VFW Post 1466 and enjoyed bingo, bowling, and camping with family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her children; Andrea and husband Randy Vanderwarker, Danny and wife Cariren DesRocher, Allyson and husband Dennis Mobley, Todd and wife Chris DesRocher, and Dean and wife Tammy Westover. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to all of the dedicated workers at the Clinton County Nursing Home for all of their love and special care. Barbara's smile will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and those who recently got to know her during her care.
Calling hours will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 from 11AM -1PM at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held after calling hours at the funeral home at 1PM, followed by her burial at Ingraham Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
