Barbara passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at home in the arms of her husband and surrounded by family. Barb was the proud and grateful wife to Roger for 57-1/2 years. She was the loving mother to Tracey (Scott) Czechan and Kelly Zibell. The lights of her life were her grandchildren who she cherished with all of her heart, Jacob (Kelli) Czechan, Lucas (Sabrina) Zibell and Gabrielle Zibell. She is further survived by her extra special friends, Dianne Jens, Betty Roush, Trish Whitcomb and Carmen Hoyne.
Barb lived a life similar to most, and enjoyed it by playing golf, gardening and spending time with many of her close friends who also shared those interests. She was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and never missed a game. In her earlier years Barb dedicated herself to running Brownie and Girl Scout Troops, being a health room aide at her children's school and helping her husband while they built a business together. Later she was blessed to run the Ladies of The Evening Golf League from 1982 to 2021. She also worked as an Electronic Technician for a major manufacturing firm in Wisconsin and continued in that profession until her retirement in 2018.
Barb is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred Gendrich, sisters Judith Hansen and Margaret McDermott, and granddaughter Nicolette Zibell.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Rd. (corner of Hwy J & JJ, 4 blocks south of Interstate 94) from 5:00 PM until time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
