Barbara was a member of Heyworth United Church in Heyworth, Illinois. She found joy in painting, sewing, and reading, and loved spending time with her family playing cards and games.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Wellenreiter of Greenfield; sons, Stan (Elke) Yordy of Austin, Texas and Durand (Phyllis) Yordy of Greenfield; 7 grandchildren, Janeen (Trey) Gill, Darren (Destiny) Wellenreiter, Barbara (Chris) Speckman, Erick (Regina) Yordy, Amanda Yordy, Andrew (Mechelle) Yordy, and Craig (Rebecca) Yordy; 10 great-grandchildren; Zach (Jerika) Gill, Nicholas Gill, Brenden (Jennifer) Gill, Evan Speckman, Tyler Yordy, Violet Yordy, Myles Yordy, Ellie Yordy, Ethan Yordy, and Lydia Yordy; and a great-great-granddaughter on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard; grandson, Brian Yordy; and all of her siblings.
Private family services will be held in Indiana. A graveside service will take place at East Lawn Cemetery in Bloomington, Illinois on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 1:00pm CT.
