Barry Bartholomew, 76, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, orginally from Nazareth, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Born to Walter and Mildred Bartholomew, Barry led a life full of love for his family, a deep connection to dogs, and a quiet yet steadfast presence.
A devoted husband and father, Barry found his greatest joy in being surrounded by his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense happiness. Known affectionately as a "dog whisperer," Barry shared a special bond with dogs, a gift that endeared him to his family and friends alike. His passion for tending to his lawn was matched only by his quiet support and caring nature toward those around him.
Barry is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Linda Bartholomew; his children, Jamie (Sylvanna) Bartholomew, Kimberly (Timothy) Donovan, Christine Piscitelli, and Liane (Bill) Gischlar; and his eight cherished grandchildren, Nikolos, Sofiya, Ann-Marie, Anatoli, Mia, Ella, Teagan, and Asher.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to All About Animals Rescue & Transportation, Inc., a cause that was close to Barry's heart.
No public services are planned at this time. Barry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
