Barry was born September 2, 1955, in Waverly, Ohio, the son of the late Robert Claytor and Jeannie (Hickman) Clayton. He was united in marriage to Vickie (Coverdale) Claytor who survives.
He is also survived by two children, Bobbi Jo Claytor, and Barry Claytor; three grandchildren, Kane Claytor, Ebony Joy Nicole Claytor, and Jamir Roger Adams Claytor; two brothers, David Claytor, and John (Steve) Claytor; and his two dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Jeannie Lynn Brannan.
The family will receive friends 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly.
Arrangements are under the care of Boyer Cremation Services.
