Mr. Barry LeAnder Manier was born July 23, 1963, in Kansas City, Kansas to Ms. Lauretha Manier. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lauretha Manier and sister, Debra Hodges.
Barry later moved with Uncle Billy and Aunt Betty Jackson after the passing of his mother, when he was 11 years old.
He received his formal education in the Wyandotte County School District. He later joined Job Core, where he became skilled in brick laying. He married the love of his life, Pamela Boykin on July 13, 2013.
Barry attended Emanual Temple COGIC as a child under the leadership of Elder T.L. Pleas. He gave his life to Christ and was baptized on November 4, 2011, at The New Bethel Church under the Pastoralship of Bishop A. Glenn Brady. He diligently and faithfully served as Usher and later, on the Men's Ministry and Security Board of the church until his health began to decline.
Barry was a laborer and was gifted in various areas of the janitorial and construction business throughout his life. He absolutely loved detailing his wife's car. Some of his hobbies included drawing, attending air shows, watching, and rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, and helping others whenever he could meet their need. He was very comical and always upbeat even during his battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by the lives he touched.
Barry was called to glory on September 7, 2022.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Pamela Manier of Overland Park Kansas, daughter, Kymesha Keys (Larry) and grandduaghter, Avee Keys of Overland Park Kansas, mother-in-laws, Mrs. Cornelia Boykin, of Kansas City Kansas.
