Barry J. Rolfes, age 76, of Celina, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 15, 1949, in Celina to the late Eugene J. and Virginia A. (Alt) Rolfes.
On June 21, 1968, Barry married the love of his life, Sue (Stachler) Rolfes, and together they shared 57 wonderful years. She survives at their home in Celina.
Barry is also survived by his children, Tanya (Larry Veloz) Rolfes, Tracy Rolfes, Nicole (Joe Saunder) Rolfes, Ryan (Jennifer) Rolfes, Brandi Rolfes, and Brad Rolfes, all of Celina; his siblings, Gary (Diane) Rolfes, Terry (Shelly) Rolfes, Randy (Paula) Rolfes, Kim (Bruce) Swonger, and Tammy (Ron) Richards, all of Celina; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A 1968 graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic High School in Celina, Barry dedicated his life to his family and their business, Celina Glass. He began working there at the age of 13 and proudly continued as a second-generation owner until his retirement in 2019. Barry took immense pride in carrying on the family tradition and building lasting relationships through the business.
Barry was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a Life Member of Celina VFW Post #5713. Known for his strong work ethic, warm personality, and devotion to family, Barry especially cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed classic cars, attending car shows, and relishing the simple joys of his well-earned retirement.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with his brother-in-law, Bruce Swonger, officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercer DD, 4980 Mud Pike Rd., Celina, Ohio, or the Cancer Association of Mercer County, 218 S. Main St., Celina, Ohio.
