Bart Gilbert Boitnott, 58, of Craig County, Virginia, died June 11, 2024. Bart was born in 1965 in Norfolk, Virginia. His family later moved to New Castle, Virginia. After graduating from Craig County High School, he enlisted in the marines where he served for 3 years and 7 months, as an E3. He then worked for Salem Specialties until he retired. Bart enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and watching sports.
He leaves behind his wife of 17 years, Rebecca Boitnott, and their children and grandchildren. Magen (and husband Josh) Erritt, their children are Atreyu, Rowan, Archer, and Isaac. Jasmine Brown (and her partner Jason Owens) and their children, Charley, Layla, Blaine, Willow, and Hazel. Rhiannon Boitnott (and her partner Ethan) and their daughter Kally. Logan Royster and his sons Aiden and Jett. Elinda Boitnott and her son Rebel. His Sister and her family Monique (and her husband Teddy) Bentley and their children Lauren (and her children Savannah and Zachery), Hannah, and Jourdan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm at Paitsel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1pm-2pm before the service.
