Bart Preston Parish

Bart Preston Parish, 59 of Troup passed away suddenly on September 20, 2022.

He was born in Longview, Texas on January 30, 1963, to Robert Lee Parish and Delores Ann McCorkle Parish. Bart is preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Peter Parish. He was employed by Martin Creek Cattle in Troup.

Bart is survived by his sons, Conner Parish, Casey Parish, Calvin Parish, and his stepmother, Brenda Parish and her family all of Tyler. He is survived by many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Bart accepted Jesus Christ as a child and attended church with his family.

Bart was a graduate of Chapel Hill High School, where he played football.

Bart held two patents for Fuel Cube Technology used in the recycling industry. He was a gifted mechanic and worked in the recycling industry for over 20 years. He had a knack for listening to a machine run and diagnosing the problem. He once worked on a machine for over 48 hours and would not stop until it was repaired.

He lived and worked in the Denton Texas area for 30 years before returning to East Texas.

Bart enjoyed camping and riding four wheelers with his children when they were younger.
