Beatrice "Bea" Lowell Flood, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 81. Born on August 21, 1943, in Bennington, Vermont, Bea lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to her community.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Diana, her brother, Jimmy Moss, and her mother-in-law, Betty Moss. She is survived by her three children: Joyce (Dale) Hollow, Richard Neuharth, and Stacy (Larry Laski) Arquette. Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren: Casie (Andy) Akehurst, Jessica (Landon Hendricks) Neuharth, Korey Thomas, Shayanna (Sophie) Pappas, Dylan Neuharth, and Tasha (Jesse) Burnett, as well as her eight great-grandchildren: Noah Thomas-Bocook, Jasper Akehurst, Lucas Akehurst, Sophia Hendricks, Aidan Hendricks, Jonah Burnett, Hailee Burnett, and Lexi Burnett.
For 25 years, Bea dedicated herself to her career as a bank manager, where she was known for her professionalism and integrity. Outside of work, she was an avid animal lover who spent countless hours volunteering at local animal shelters, demonstrating her compassion and commitment to the welfare of animals.
Bea was an active member of her community, participating in the Grosse Ile Garden Club, Ann Arbor Bike Club, and Grosse Ile Runners. Her love for music was evident as she sang in the choir at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she found joy and fellowship.
