Becky J. Nangle

Becky J. Nangle, 73, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

Born on July 29, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Becky was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. Becky worked at the Indianapolis Air Traffic Control Center where she met her husband, Mike. They moved to Florida where she was a realtor in Coral Springs, Florida before moving to Ocean Springs. She built a career in Player Services at both the IP Casino and the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. At the Hard Rock, she was honored as Employee of the Year once and Employee of the Quarter twice.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Howard and Mary Rus Howard, her sister Susie, brothers, Dick, Ray, and Mark Howard.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Mike Nangle; her children, Mike Nangle, Jr. and Joe Nangle; her grandson, Evan Nangle; and her siblings, Linda Welch (Joe) Indianapolis, Indiana, David Howard (Ivy) Gilbert, Arizona, Cindy Shaw (Scott) Greenwood, Indiana, sisters -in- law Janet Howard, Patty Howard, Karen Howard. Becky also is survived by over 50 nieces and nephews which include great and great -great nieces and nephews.

Becky was a warm-hearted, gentle soul, and deeply loved by all who knew her. Becky was fun loving and full of energy. She was quick to acknowledge her faith in God and how He had walked alongside her during difficult times. She shared many of these thoughts on social media and responded to many posts. She was cherished by her husband Mike, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. The Nangle family would like to thank all those who visited Becky, prayed for her, brought food and to Patrick McCarthy in providing transportation to and from the hospital for Mike.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., in West Jackson County.
