Benetta Sue (Baggett) Dunn, 79, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
Sue was born in McLean County, Kentucky on September 11, 1945 to the late Earl and Mary Elizabeth Baggett. She worked for many years as a nurses aid. Benetta loved Native American jewelry and history. In her free time she enjoyed talking to people on the CB Radio and was known as buttercup.
Sue is survived by her sisters, Betty Pence (Jeffery) of Evansville, IN and Carol Baggett (Rick McKinley) of Toronto, Canada; brother, Steve Baggett (Karen) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Arielle Draper and Brandon Schmidt and many nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; son, Marvin Dunn; sisters, Darlene Barnes and Peggy Rowlett; and brothers, Charlie Baggett and Donnie Baggett.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Rev. Carol Baggett officiating. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 12:00 noon until service time on Wednesday at Browning Funeral Home.
