BENITO WAS BORN IN VILLALBA, PUERTO RICO ON APRIL 3, 1948. HE WAS ONE OF ELEVEN CHILDREN. BENITO LOVED TO FISH, WORK IN THE GARDEN, AND ALWAYS READY TO LEND A HAND TO EVERYONE. BENITO WAS A DEVOUT CATHOLIC AND A VERY ACTIVE MEMBER OF HIS CHURCH, HOLY NAME OF JESUS IN OTISVILLE, NY.
BENITO IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING WIFE OF 41 YEARS GLADYS COLON,TWO SISTERS EVA COLON AND MARIA C. COLON AND TWO BROTHERS RAMON COLON AND LOUIS COLON. BENITO WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS PARENTS LAURIANO COLON AND PAULITA LOBOY. BENITO WAS ALSO PREDECEASED BY HIS BROTHERS FELIPE COLON AND ALCADIO COLON ALONG WITH HIS SISTERS CARMEN COLON, MAXINE COLON, ROSA COLON AND LISA COLON.
VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY JANUARY 16 FROM 3 PM TO 5 PM AT APPLEBEE-MCPHILLIPS FUNERAL HOME AT 130 HIGHLAND AVENUE IN MIDDLETOWN, NY
A FUNERAL MASS WILL BE HELD 11 AM ON FRIDAY JANUARY 17 AT HOLY NAME OF JESUS CHURCH -45 HIGHLAND AVENUE OTISVILLE, NY.
IN LiEU OF FLOWERS PLEASE MAKE A DONATION TO HELP THE FAMILY WITH FUNERAL EXPENSES

Gladys I'm not sure if you remember me it's been so long I use to date mike Duvall in high school you and Benito use to come visit,I always enjoyed seeing you both .I'm very sorry for the loss of Benito. With love Robin
