Benjamin Thomas Defibaugh, 45, of 583 John Oakley Rd., Prospect Hill, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Born in Union County, WV, Mr. Defibaugh was the son of Thomas Gene Defibaugh, who survives. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Anna and Lonnie Defibaugh. He served in the US Army and was discharged as a Sergeant. He worked in highway construction and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Defibaugh was a dedicated family man and enjoyed cooking.
Mr. Defibaugh is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lori Ann Judy Defibaugh, having been together for 33 years; two children, Kayla Anna Defibaugh and Colton Clarence Thomas Defibaugh; one brother, Stacy Barnette; and his mother-in-law, Carolyne Sue Judy.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
