Benjamin Ferguson Few, Jr. of Lyndon, Kentucky died on August 11, 2022 at his home in Dudley Square of The Episcopal Church Home. He was born January 10, 1934 in Manhattan, New York, the son of Benjamin Ferguson Few and Caroline Weston Few. Mr. Few graduated from Buckley School in New York City, Deerfield Academy, Duke University and the University of Virginia Law School. In 1968, he moved to Louisville, Ky. where he married Sarah McNeal Few. To his great sorrow, she died in 2015. He retired as Senior Vice President of Liberty National Bank in 1994, having served on the Boards of the Louisville Ballet and the Kentucky Opera. Mr. Few was instrumental in forming the City of Hurstbourne.
Mr. Few's passions were tennis, his Cardigan Welsh Corgis as well as his travels to Central Europe, Africa and South America. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Few Penfield. Many friends across the generations in various locales were honored to be extended family over the years. A Memorial Service celebrating the fullness of his life will be held on Monday, August 22nd in the Chapel at Pearson's Funeral Home at noon. Burial at Cave Hill will follow.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Few expressed a desire for memorial contributions to be made to the Humane Society https://www.kyhumane.org/donate/, Hosparus of Louisville https://hosparushealth.org/donate/ or The Cathedral Heritage Foundation or the Festival of Faiths.
