Benjamin Tyler Hensley, 26, of Spartanburg, passed away on December 25, 2025. Tyler was born December 24, 1999, in Spartanburg, SC, a son of Sherry Hensley.
Tyler was a 2018 graduate of Spartanburg High School and was the Manager of Tate Meatworks. He was a member of Lyman Masonic Lodge and attended Cudd Memorial Baptist Church.
Along with his mother, Tyler is survived by his siblings, Adam Hensley (Derrionna Gassoway), Lillyanna Hensley (John Latour), and Victoria Hensley; and his grandmother, Martha Hensley.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Tyler’s life will be held 2:00 pm Friday, January 2, 2026, at Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, 1301 Boiling Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303, conducted by the Rev. Kris Showen and the Rev. Chris Conner. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or online at www.spartanburghumane.org
