Our precious little angel, Benjamin "Benny" James Petransky, age 2, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on February 1st, 2024, next to the warmth of his mommy, daddy and older brother Ari James. His love, spirit, energy, braveness, warm hugs, gorgeous big blue eyes, and man bun will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Benny is survived by his loving parents, Natalie and Eric Petransky, and big brother Ari. He leaves behind his other wonderful family, grandparents Dolores and Steven Petransky, Rene Buonadonna-Parisi, and Rick and Kathy Parisi. His loving uncle and aunts, Christopher Petransky, Cristina ( ZIA ) & Shawn Anderson, Hailey and Bernard Lynch II, Julieanne Petransky, and Brittany & Sean Hordijenko, caring cousins, Peyton and Seany Hordijenko, and last by his four best friends Emersyn Ena, Bernard John, Rosalie Nicole, and Sebastian James.

There are many words to describe our Benny, but one to sum it all up is our little hero. His big smile lit up the room, and everyone would have to take a double look to see how handsomely beautiful our little boy was. Of course, we had to occasionally correct a few strangers who said, "She's so gorgeous." Meanwhile, Benny was dressed in his favorite Adidas jumpsuit with Daddy's favorite Jordans on, giving them a look like "I'm Benny from Broomall." ( Uncle Shawns favorite name for Benny )

Benny loved being a little boy during his brief time here on this earth. He was already on the top of something if there was something to climb on. Anything he could play with was played with, and I mean everything. It got to the point where Mommy had to follow him around, cleaning up his toys as he went. Bath time was by far his favorite thing to do at his age. He would mostly shower and dance to the music that Daddy played for him. He loved attending his daycare, which was an extended family to us with how he treated him, "Tiny Miracles." Benny loved being loved, and it was apparent. Benny loved grabbing his bottle and blankie. He had these attached to his hip at every single moment. He would be ready to use his bottle as a weapon if needed.

Benny was inspired to be like his older brother, Ari. He would do whatever Ari would do, sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad. He was attached to Ari's hip at all times. They did everything together. The future looked bright for whatever high school football team they would play for together. One thing that became abundantly clear to us was that Iron Man was Benny's role model. He watched all the Iron Man movies probably a million times. I'm sure he's watching one of the movies with Tony Stark and Jarvis right now. Benny's afternoon routine was like clockwork after school. He would blast through the front door with a smile that turned any bad day for his Mommy, Daddy, or Ari into a great one. If it weren't the front door, he would blast through Daddy's office door while Daddy was on the phone with a client explaining why they should "buy now, refinance later. “ Benny had the power to change the world. We hear it many times as parents that "your children are special." However, it takes something like this to see how true that saying is.

In the first Iron Man, we see Tony Stark's life before becoming a hero. This movie was the one that Benny chose to watch every afternoon over the last three months. One quote from the movie sits with us: "JARVIS., make a note. Remind me not to wake up in the morning ever again." Now it all makes sense to us. Jarvis was Jesus Christ this entire time, and Benny was Tony Stark. Benny was ready to become our HERO.

We love you Benny

My little one, precious from the start

Made in the image of god

He created your innermost part

Formed from this earths sod

Knit together in your mother’s womb

By a loving and caring friend

You don’t have to assume

A glorious wonder made to the very end

God makes no mistakes

He knew exactly his very plans

God is perfect doing what it takes

Wonderful are the works of his hands

God had this in his mind for you

This is perfect and a wonderful plan

You have given to us many joys

Now we gave you back into his hands

To take care of you as only he can

It’s not a good-bye dear Benny

It is only until we meet again

Heaven is our final home

Mommy, Daddy and Ari will see you again
