Benjamin Luke Francis Stratford

 

Benjamin Luke Francis Stratford, 21, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023.  He was born on May 18, 2002, to Neil Stratford and Elizabeth McCord.

Ben graduated from North Oldham High School where he played soccer and ran track and cross-country.  He was currently attending the University of Kentucky studying Psychology.  Ben was a sports fanatic and loved animals.

Preceding Ben in death were his grandparents, Joan Catterall, Robert King-Turner, and Brenda (Taylor) Stratford.

Ben is survived by his father, Neil Stratford (Carol); his mother, Elizabeth McCord (Matthew); his sister, Charlotte Stratford; his brother, Jake Stratford; his grandfather, Patrick Stratford; his great uncle, Peter Taylor; his uncles, Andrew Stratford, and Martin King-Turner; his aunts, Elizabeth Stratford, and Jackie King-Turner; his cousins, Alexander Stratford, Isabel Stratford, Eleanor King-Turner, and Grace King-Turner.

A memorial service to celebrate Ben’s life will be held on Friday, June 23,2023, at 11AM at St. Aloysius Church, 212 Mt. Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley, Kentucky, with a reception to follow at Hunting Creek Country Club, 6807 Foxcroft Road, Prospect, Kentucky.
