Benjamin Whimple Obituary
Born in Niskayuna, NY, he was the son of William and Susan (Cybulski) Whimple. Ben was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Scotia Glenville High School, class of 2008. He held various occupations over the years, including at Conifer Park in Glenville, Baptist Nursing and Rehabilitation in Scotia and Sunmark Credit Union in Latham. Most recently, he was employed as a phone sales representative with a large prescription company. His kindness and gentle demeanor always left an impression on the people he worked with.
Art was extremely important to Ben. He loved to draw and even designed several of his own tattoos. He loved animals, especially all of the dogs and cats he had throughout the years.
Ben is survived by his parents, William and Susan Whimple of Glenville; brother, Josh (Amanda) Whimple of MA; nieces, Aurora and Ada; nephews, Jake and John; his grandmother, Maria Cybulski, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be held Friday 3 p.m. at The White Funeral Home, 264 N. Ballston Ave., Scotia, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Ben's name to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302, or to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.

Hey Ben. I just found out today you passed away. We had some good memories back in our Baptist Health days talking about Xbox and other silly things. You were a fun guy to work with and one that was good to know. Sleep in peace.

Hey Ben, I'm sorry we lost communication a few years back. You were always an amazing guy, it didn't hurt that we shared the same humor. I'm completely at a loss of words, I hope your next journey brings you the happiness you were searching for. Until we meet again buddy!

To my brother, words cannot and will not ever describe how much I loved being your brother! I still cannot believe your gone(I don´t think I ever will). I hope you are able to finally have piece and put your beautiful soul at ease. I would give anything to here your goofy voice again.....I never realized how lucky I was to be your brother. You always had my love..and you always will. There will never be a day I don´t think about you. I love you Ben! My brother....
