Bertha Vedros Obituary
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, La. from 6:00pn until 9:00pm. On Thurdsay, May 23, 2024 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.
Bertha is survived by her children; James "Jimmy" Vedros, Jr. (Lisa), Kimberly "Kim" Landry (Scott), Mary Dufren (Randy), Cindy Leonard (Bennie), grandchildren; Tissylyn, Hannah, Ryan, Jace, and Cole, great-grandchildren; Jalen, Kamren, Nickoli, Jimmie, Karsen and Rylen, sisters; Thelma Chiasson and Bernice Bourgeois, sister-in-law; Vivian Roussel.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years; James Joseph Vedros, Sr., parents; Arthur, Sr. and Clemillia Griffin Roussel, brother; Arthur Roussel, Jr. sisters; Maude Crochet, and Velma Dufrene.
Bertha loved fishing, camping, Pokeno, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Bertha was a Parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
