BERTIE J. HANKINS ANDERSON, born May 17, 1934 passed away on October 17, 2024. Bertie was saved on December 9, 1985 and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Jefferson City. Preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Dora Hankins; husband, Bobby Anderson; sisters, Mae Wilson and Edna Ogle; brother, Marshall Hankins. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Runyon and Lynda Sellers; and several nieces and nephews. Bertie was a resident of Life Care of Jefferson City, where she was loved by Jennifer Steel, Eric and Gary; and special friend Laverine Cline. The family would like to thank Life Care and Amedisys Hospice for their care and love during Bertie’s final days. Family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home. Graveside interment service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ronnie White (who was a true friend of Bertie) of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church officiating.
