Bill Anderson, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 18, 2025. He was a member of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ in Rogersville, TN. Bill loved to worship and praise the Lord often while mowing the lawn and in everything he did. Bill was a true worship leader. He had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing hymns. He loved being in the presence of God. Bill was a light to everyone he came into contact with. He helped his wife, Candace grow her relationship with the Lord and they enjoyed serving Him together. Bill never met a stranger. He loved helping people and spending time with his family, friends, and his boy, Jerry. Bill loved God, loved his family, loved a good meal, and loved to shop with his brother, David.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Norma Jeanne Anderson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Candace Anderson; sisters, Louetta and Kathy; brother, David; daughter, Lydia; granddaughter, Jillian; grandsons, Cameron and Gage; great-grandson, Pierre; special friends, Johnny Adame, Elder Cobb, Jerald Hurd, and Josh Michaels; pastors, Pastor and Missionary Barfield and Pastor Mark Dickerson.
Family will receive friends from 12pm-1pm on Saturday, August 2nd at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at 1pm with Elder Charles Cobb III and Pastor Mark Dickerson officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations mat be made to Tunnels To Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org.
