Bessie May Kimball (Brumbill), age 84, of Vandercook Lake, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, under the loving care of her family. She was born on April 25, 1941, in Wayne, Michigan, to Sidney and Dorothy (Kelley) Brumbill.
Bessie is survived by her loving children Connie (Rusty) Waller, Ron (Barb) Bailey, Charlotte (Greg) Scholl, John (Mary) Bailey, Nelson (Pam) Bailey, and Steven (Amy) Kimball; many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; dear siblings Doris (the late Harold ) Canfield, Alice (the late Moe) Monroe, Phil (Inez) Brumbill, and Nancy (Joe) Ulrich and sister-in-law, Sharon Brumbill; fond aunt to numerous nieces and nephews; and her precious companion, Mabel.
She was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 50 years, Warren, her Sweet Pea; son Dwayne Bailey; siblings Bill Brumbill, Roy Brumbill, and Joan Brumbill.
After her husband Warren's retirement, both he and Bessie dedicated 25 years to Gene Davis & Sons Catering. In her early career, she worked as a waitress and held a position at K-Mart. Additionally, she enjoyed playing games such as Yahtzee and Sorry. For over 50 years, she was an active member of Harmony Baptist Church, where she formed lasting friendships and positively touching the lives of many during her 84 years. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Henry Ford Hospice Home-Jackson for their compassionate care and kindness. Following her wishes cremation has taken place.
