Heaven is sweeter today! Jesus is saying,"Well done My faithful servant!"to His precious followers.
Ada Elizabeth (Beth) Rogers Darter passed away April 18, 2025. Beth was born in Idalou, Texas on August 4, 1933 to Paul and Vera Rogers. She was raised on their family farm with her sisters Dorothy and Margie. When Beth was a senior in high school, she met Clarence Darter Jr. who was a college student at the time.
They decided to marry and eloped to Clovis, New Mexico. They were eventually blessed with their children, David, Denise, and Donna. Beth stayed at home to be an example to her children as to what a Christian, wife, and mother is. Beth eventually went to college to get her degrees to become a teacher for 20 years in the WFISD school district. Together with Clarence, they raised their children to become faithful, not perfect, children of Christ. They have worked, supported and loved their Faith Village Church of Christ family all these years.
Beth is survived by her husband Clarence of 75 years, her children, David and Susan Darter, Denise and Stewart Swartz, and Donna and Billy Gee. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren Amanda, Andy and Abby Policky, Rosanna, Chris and Callie Cotton, David Paul Darter, Jordan, Michelle, Mason, Jack and Lane Swartz, Janson and Amy Swartz, Cassandra and Alex Meylor, Joshua Gee, Jentry, Amber, and Saylor Swartz, Jane and Caleb Browning.
A special prayer of thanksgiving from her family to Dr. Russell, Dr. Schultz, her loving friends at Brookdale- Jessica B.,Alicia, Allegra, Maggie, Erica, Nichole, Curtis, Jessica-RA and countless others. Also to her friends at Beyond Faith- Laci, Bea, Laurie, Diane and ALL the other friends there.
Celebration of life will be held at Faith Village Church of Christ, Monday, April 21, at 10:00 am with Chris Swinford officiating. There will be a visitation following the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Beth would enjoy a gift of love to the Humane Society of Wichita Falls or to Beyond Faith Hospice.
