Beth Ann Hilbert passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023, at Heritage Valley in
Beaver, Pennsylvania, following an extended illness. She was born on September 19, 1942, in
East Liverpool, Ohio. Beth was 81 years old at the time of her passing.
Beth dedicated much of her life to her work. She served as the office manager at the family-owned Hilbert Agency and later as the Executive Officer for Beaver Creek Area Realtors. Her strong work ethic and commitment made a lasting impact on those she worked with.
Outside of her professional life, Beth had a wide range of interests and hobbies. She had a deep passion for music and loved playing the violin. She also found joy in creating decorative stained glass pieces and wood carving. Over the years, she skillfully carved numerous Santa Claus figures, showcasing her talent and creativity.
Beth's educational journey began at East Liverpool High School, where she obtained her high school diploma. She then pursued higher education at the University of Pittsburgh, and graduated with a degree in Education.
On November 8, 1963, Beth Ann married the love of her life, Standley "Tait" Hilbert Jr. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their union was blessed with two children, a son named S. Tait Hilbert III, who resides in
Rogers, Ohio, along with his wife Brenda Hilbert, and a daughter named Beth Ann Hilbert "Tazio," who lives in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her husband Todd Shirley.
Beth's greatest joy came from being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves behind three grandchildren, Alexandrea Hilbert, Shelby Hilbert Riddle, and Ace Shirley, as well as two great-grandchildren, Dexter Riddle and Estelle Riddle. They will forever carry her love in their hearts.
Beth was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Breeze, and her mother, Wilda Brown Breeze. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will be cherished by her family and friends.
A service to honor and celebrate Beth's life will be held at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in
Calcutta, Ohio, on Friday, September 29th, at 11:00am. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, September 28th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Beth Ann Hilbert will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
