Beth Yablonski Obituary
Beth Ann Yablonski passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2023 after a lengthy battle with
cancer. She was born to Valerian and Frances Borgert of Kettering, Ohio on August 26, 1962. The youngest of six children, Beth grew up in Kettering, enjoying a childhood of summers spent with friends at the pool and traditional holiday celebrations with her loving family.
She attended Archbishop Alter High School, where she was involved with school activities including the marching band drill team, the Lancerettes. After graduating in 1980, she briefly attended Eastern Michigan University on a diving scholarship and later Wright State University. She relocated to Columbus in 1983, where she was employed by Ohio Right to Life Society, Park National Bank, and the Westin Great Southern Hotel. Settling in well to Central Ohio and establishing a wonderful social circle, she met her husband John in 1990 and was married on April 27, 1996.
After starting a family, Beth took on raising her two children full-time and was devoted wholeheartedly. to her family, friends, community and church. For many years she volunteered with the Immaculate Conception parish women's club, school sports (golf and track) and the school hot lunch program. Always warm and welcoming, Beth helped organize neighborhood block parties and weekly summer happy hour events. She enjoyed maintaining the home flower gardens, staying connected with friends, and annual summer family trips to the North Carolina beach getaway – Blue Skies.
Beth returned to work in 2015 with the Ohio Library Council where she maintained her part-time position through a portion of her cancer treatments. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Ohio Health Care Oncology staff and all those who provided support for Beth and family during her cancer illness.
Beth Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Valerian and Frances Borgert and nephew, Curt Rammel. She is survived by her loving husband, John, and their two children, Luke and Mary of Columbus OH, sisters Valerie (Dave) Senkowski of Centerville OH, Joan (Dick) Rammel of Columbus OH, brothers Nick (Chris) Borgert of Charlotte NC, Randy (Karen) Borgert of Centerville OH, and Matt Borgert of Centerville OH and many wonderful in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and their spouses and children.

To the Yablonski Family and the Borgert Family (Valerie, Nick, Randy, Joan, and Matt).

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Beth. Growing up, although she was much younger, I remember Beth as a sweet and happy young child.

She will be greatly missed as she was such a blessed gift to our world. Please cherish the many great and fond memories and the many smiles she gave to those who were lucky enough to know her.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to all of you.

The Alexander Family

December 26, 2023

We will never forget the love and kindness shown to us from all of you Yablonski's when we first met at the IC festival in July of 2012. Our daughter, Samantha, was starting school as a new kid at IC in 2nd grade and Niccole Reing-Hurley was our good friend who introduced us to you all (along with the Robinson's) at the IC festival. Both Mary and Cameron welcomed our Sam with open arms and literally within minutes, all three girls went laughing and running off into the bounce house zone and were friends from there. In loving memory of Beth Ann, your mom and wife, who was so beautiful and so kind to all and a devoted mother and friend we always admired. With much love and deep sadness, The Alexander Family
