Betsy Jean Kepple Diggs, 65, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Joseph and Lillian Ruth Wheeler Kepple. She was the office manager at Graybeal Heating and Air in Shelbyville, managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, scheduling and dispatch. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crafting, cross stitch, making shirts and cups, flower gardening and canning. She thoroughly enjoyed the canning season, creating many delights her family and friends enjoyed throughout the year. Her grandchildren were her delight and her main hobby. She supported them in all their endeavors and enjoyed her time with them. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, one brother, Donnie Kepple, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Michael Wayne Diggs of Shelbyville; her son, Christopher Michael Diggs (Cathy) of LaGrange; her daughter, Amie Niccole Diggs of Shelbyville; two brothers, Bobby Kepple (Linda) of Louisville and Jerry Kepple (Michelle) of Bagdad; her sister-in-law, Lyn Larson Kepple of Ft. Myers, FL; six grandchildren, Joshua Michael Gibson, Gavin Watson, Zachary Tyler Gibson, Jovi Diggs, Hunter Gibson and Madysen Gibson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Cremation has been selected in accordance with her wishes. A celebration of life service will be held later.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Webb Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.webbfuneralhome.com.

How do you say goodbye to someone that has been there your whole life? From you trying to give me away to the neighbors when I was born all through life to trying to be the glue for our family after mom and dad passed. I´m sorry if I ever let you down as a little brother. I´m sorry we grew apart some in the last several years.
I love you and miss you! Please hug mom, dad and Donnie for me .
I know you are in a better place but you left us way too soon

Betsy and I had been friends since 7th grade at Butler High School. She was a wonderful friend and loved by many. We had a lot of fun in her Chevette riding thru McDonald´s back in high school.
Prayers for Michael, and her family. She will be greatly missed.
