On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Yvette M. "Betsy" Lang, 65, passed away suddenly at home in New Freedom. She was the devoted wife of Michael Lang for what would have been 46 years at the end of December. The daughter of Hammond and Virginia (Clapers) Stewart, Betsy was born on March 14, 1958. After graduating from Randallstown High School in Randallstwon, MD in 1976, Betsy dedicated her life to being the best wife, mother and Mom-mom she could be. She enjoyed baking, decorating cakes, and doing other craftwork. She was also an active member of the Glenview Alliance Church in Glen Rock.
Betsy is survived by her husband, Mike; two children, Rebecca Mitchell and husband Kyle, and Christopher Lang; two grandchildren, Parker Mitchell and Kaylee Lang; and two sisters, Peggy Ridgley and Debbie Perrine.
A celebration of Betsy's life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:00 am at Glenview Alliance Church, 10037 Susquehanna Trail S., Glen Rock, PA 17327. A time to visit with the family will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 North Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

My first memory of Betsy was when she and Uncle Mike took me to the State Fair in an MGB and I sat between the two seats-I had a blast at the Fair and remember riding in the car like it was yesterday!
