Betty Banzhoff Obituary Betty Jane Banzhoff, 88, of Halfway, MD passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Doeys House Hagerstown, MD.
She was born on April 30, 1937, in Westminster, MD to the late Charles Kyler and Rachel Romaine Campbell Horst. She was raised by her late Aunt and Uncle Mary and Clyde Keller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lynn Banzhoff on April 11, 1994.
Betty was a 1955 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She was a Homemaker.
She was of the Methodist Faith.
She was a member of Dixon Troxell Post #211 American Legion Auxiliary Funkstown, MD.
Betty enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her weekly class reunion meetings. She was a huge Baltimore Orioles fan and former Hagerstown Suns fan.
Betty is survived by her daughter Lisa A. Horn and her husband Daniel of Williamsport, MD; son Craig R. Banzhoff of Cascade, MD; son James C. Banzhoff and his wife Lori of Genoa, NE; brother Ed Keller and his wife Bev of Downsville, MD; sister Debra Lauricella; sister Lana Strauss; grandchildren Curtis, Adam, Brandi, Adrean, Stephanie, Joshua, and Karley; 6 great grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son Jeffrey Lynn Banzhoff; sister Doris A. Acorn; brothers Charles K. Horst and John H. Horst.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 6:00 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Bishop officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
