Betty Jane Doty, of Hudson, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born on March 27, 1946, in Stephentown, NY, to Harvey Roberts and Gladys Jones.
Betty attended Ichabod Crane Central School. She dedicated many years of service working as an associate for Taconic Plastics and Golden Harvest. Betty had a love for life and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She found joy in camping, boating, gardening, and her love of flowers. Above all, she had a special fondness for dogs, always surrounding herself with furry companions.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Michael Fix of Hudson, Robert (Cammie) Fix of Niverville, and her daughter, Patricia. She will be deeply missed by her partner, Leonard Johnson of Schodack, and her siblings, George Roberts of Berlin and her sister, Dawn, also of Berlin. Betty was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her brother, Harvey Roberts, and her sister, Sue.

The sweet lady was my soulmate nobody can even imagine the love we shared now there is a great big hole left in my heart but I know she is in a better place until we meet again my sweet love I will love you forever
