Betty Lou Allen McVey, 92, of Haw River, North Carolina passed away at Mebane Ridge Assisted Living on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. A native of Almance County, she was born on May 22, 1933 to Willie Louis Allen and Nellie Terrell Allen, both deceased and she was the wife of the late Norman Edward McVey who passed away in 1995.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Phillips Chapel Church at 12:00pm with the family receiving friends for a time of visitation beginning at 11:00am. The burial will be immediately following the service in the church cemetery.
