Betty Jane Nutter, 89, died Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the Sheridan County Long Term Care, in Hoxie Kansas. She was born on September 23, 1934, in Stark County, ND, to Henry and Ruth (Travers) Scheerer. She enjoyed collecting antiques, dairy cows, fishing, watching her westerns, putting together puzzles and playing Skip-Bo and Bingo. Betty was quick to make friends and liked meeting new people. She loved spending time with family and new friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Burt Nutter; three brothers; two sisters and great-granddaughter Kalie Boyer.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Green; Son, Todd (Jenelle) Cimental; two sons; grandchildren, Jason Boyer and Misty Ary; great granddaughters, Kori Ary, Katelyn Hebard, Miley Boyer and Haylee Boyer; great-great granddaughter Lilah Ary; and brother Gary Scheerer.
