Betty Price Obituary

Born on March 24, 1938, in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Alfred A. Price and Ethel Fowler Price. A 1956 graduate of Greenwood High School, Betty Ann went on to attend Lander College. She dedicated many years of her professional life to Snead Builders Supply, later working at Minton's Pharmacy and at The Medicine Dropper.
She was a former member of Westside Baptist Church and a devoted supporter of Clemson University's IPTAY. At the time of her passing, she was a member of Greenwood Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a brother, Robert Lee Price (Marie) of Columbia; numerous nieces and nephews, and longtime special friend and neighbor Betty Jo Creswell (Tommy) of Greenwood.
A private burial will be held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood ARP Church, Connie Maxwell Children's Home, or Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
