Betty B. Reese, a cherished matriarch and beacon of love, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, at the age of 95, in Toms River, NJ. Born on November 4, 1929, in Point Pleasant, NJ, Betty's life was a testament to the enduring power of unconditional love and the strength of family bonds.
Betty's early years were characterized by her dedication to her education, as she proudly graduated from Point Pleasant High School. Her commitment to learning and personal growth laid a strong foundation for the values she would instill in her children.
After her schooling, Betty devoted her life to being a homemaker, a role she embraced with grace and joy. Her home was a haven of warmth and care, where six children grew under her nurturing guidance. Betty's unwavering support and love were the cornerstones of her family's happiness and success.
While Betty's life was marked by the heartache of losing her son, Edward F. Reese, her resilience and faith never wavered. She is survived by her loving family, including her five children: Daughters; Rosemary Reese,and Suzanne Resse, Sons: Robert and his wife, Dottie; Jay and his wife, Jacqueline and Donald and his wife, Jodi,12 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. Betty was also a proud mother-in-law to Roseann Reese.
Betty's Christian faith was a guiding light throughout her life, providing comfort and purpose. She lived her beliefs through her actions.
As we remember Betty, we celebrate a life rich in love and generosity. Her spirit of giving and her capacity for kindness.
In honoring Betty's life, we acknowledge the end of a remarkable journey-a journey defined by devotion to family, faith, and the simple, profound acts of caring that make a life truly meaningful. Betty B. Reese will be remembered not just for the years she lived, but for the love she gave and the grace with which she lived every single day.
She was truly Loved and will be Deeply missed.
