Betty Jo Snow-Slaight passed away February 27, 2025 at her home in Royal, Arkansas. She was born in Coushatta, Louisiana on January 7, 1940 to John William Snow and Mary Lucille Snow and was later raised in Verda, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers John, Jr. and Robert. As well as seven sisters Opal Marie, Norma Lee, Sandra Sue, Sherry Ann, Johnnie Fay, Bobbie Jean, Helen Gail, and great grandson Eathan Collins.
She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Slaight of Royal, Judy Deaton of Hot Springs, and son Frank Slaight of Texas. She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Christina Thornton Collins, Joshua Thornton, and Tiffany Deaton; seven great grandchildren Kyler Stevens, Katelyn Collins, Kinzley Collins, Kandence Collins, Storm Deaton, Justice Stefanovic and Orion Ward. Sisters, Hazel Tarver, Elizabeth Waxley and Kay Snow and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services in Verda Cemetery, Verda Louisiana to be announced at a later date.
