Betty M. Stone, age 83, of Buffalo, IN, passed away on November 4, 2025, in Hoxie, AR.
She was born on November 14, 1941, in Rensselaer, IN, the daughter of George and Audrey (Conley) Bailey. Betty attended Barkley Township Public School. On June 6, 1959, she married the love of her life, Donald L. Stone, at Gifford Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on November 24, 2007.
Betty worked in production and assembly at Schumacher Electric for 37 years, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She was a longtime member of Gifford Baptist Church and cherished her faith, family, and community.
She is survived by her children, Don (Tammy) Stone of Buffalo, IN, and Wyatt (Nancy) Stone of Lafayette, IN; her grandchildren, Chris Stone, Brandy Cook, Dustin Stone, Cheyenne Stone, Tommy Vigeant, Travis Vigeant, Taunia Rients, Chandler Stone, Cory Wooton, Cody Vandeventer, and Jasmine Lucas; as well as fifteen great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don; her parents; her daughter, Helen Stone, two brothers; one sister; and her granddaughter, Kayla E. Stone.
