Fostoria, Ohio Betty Lou Miller Stratton, 92, of Lakeview, OH went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2025 at 9:30pm at the Promedica Hospital in Fostoria, OH. She was surrounded by her family. She was born on September 22, 1932 in Spencerville, Ohio to Walter S. and Treva L. (Brubaker) Miller who both proceeded her in death. On October 10, 1949, in Spencerville, OH she married William "Bill" R. Stratton who preceded her in death on April 2, 2015. Betty was a homemaker and loved her family, her Lord and her church. She was a master at the art of crocheting and knitting. She loved spending time with all her family. She is survived by five sons; William "Bill" Stratton Jr. of Elida, OH, Daniel "Dan" Stratton of Hardinsburg, KY, John Stratton of Pandora, OH, Mark (Linda) Stratton of Alvada, OH, Jim Stratton of Findlay. OH, ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Ann Miller Haunhorst, and daughters-in-law, Natalie Saunders Stratton, and April Stratton. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 12:00pm at Chiles - Laman Funeral Homes, Eastside Chapel. David Moore to officiate the service. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Eastside Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Indian Lake Emergency Medical Services, 301 North Oak Street, Lakeview, Ohio 4331 Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
