BettyLou worked for Bell Telephone Company as a Directory Assistance Operator for over 30 years. When she retired, she worked for Ashers Flowers in Columbus, NJ and at Barlow Chevrolet in Delran. She was a Sunday School Teacher in the Nursery for the First Baptist Church of Bordentown. She was an avid bowler, something she enjoyed doing with her family. BettyLou enjoyed road trips and going out to lunch with her girlfriends. BettyLou enjoyed camping and the Jersey Shore. Point Pleasant, Island Beach and Indian River, DE were some of her favorite places to visit. The love for her family is what BettyLou cherished the most in life. A strong, independent, caring woman, BettyLou will be sadly missed.
Beloved wife of the late David Nelson. Devoted mother to her 3 sons, Kevin, his wife, Dorothy, William, his wife, AnnMarie and Frank, his wife, Leddy Nelson. Loving grandmother of
Kody, Caitlin, Cyrus, Sophia and Jack and great grandmother to Miles, Wyatt, Paxton, and Eliza Jane. Dear sister of Sally Ann, Butch, Raymond and the late Frank Miller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 10 AM -11 AM in the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, NJ 08505
A Funeral Service will start at 11 AM in the funeral home.
Interment in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown NJ
The family requests donations be made in her memory to the First Baptist Church of Bordentown, 127 Prince St., Bordentown, NJ 08505
