Services for Beverly June Hendrickson will be held 10:30 a.m. April 23, 2025 the Carlisle Baptist Church, Carlisle, Iowa, Pastor Jared Segerstrom officiating. Visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the church. Burial will follow services in the Wallace Cemetery, Wick, Iowa.
Beverly June Parker Hendrickson was born April 10, 1933 at Cool Junction, Warren County, Iowa. Beverly attended schools in Indianola. She married Francis Hendrickson and they had three children, Phyllis, Phillip, and James. The family lived in Ankeny, Iowa before moving to St. Charles, Iowa. With their family grown, Beverly and Francis moved back to Indianola and eventually, The Village in Indianola.
Beverly was a Christian, having accepted Christ as her Savior and claiming the verse Romans 10:9 as her own. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist in St. Charles, and later Indianola Regular Baptist Church.
Beverly is survived by her children, Phyllis (Doyle) Norris, Indianola, Iowa; Phillip (Janet) Hendrickson, Liberty Center, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Cindy Hendrickson, Pleasant Hill, Iowa; 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Bill Young, Gary (Mary)Young, and Frank (Marty) Young, and sister-in-law, Anita Hendrickson.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, son, James, mother, Bonnie Parker Young, step father, Luther Young, brother, Paul Young, sisters, Carolyn Beal and Candance Byers, sisters-in-law, Patricia Young, and Sharon Young, and brother-in-law, Ronald Beal.
Memorials in memory of Beverly may be given to the Iowa Regular Baptist Camp at Clear Lake, or Samaritan's Purse.
