BEVERLY HILTON

 Henderson, TN: Beverly Raye Hilton, age 75, passed away July 31, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 11, 1948, in Beverly Hills, CA, the daughter of the late John Raymond and Ruby Mae Penland Hilton. They moved to Henderson in 1961 where her parents owned and operated Mid-South Motel. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1966. She was a runner up, Miss Henderson her senior year. Her first job was at the ASCS Office and then served as the assistant tax assessor for Chester County Assessor, Jacky Maness.

She was a member of the Sanford Hill Baptist Church.

She had courageously battled multiple myeloma since 1995, a near thirty-year battle.

She was an avid deer hunter and out shot many rival male hunters.

She is survived by her son, Bryan Maness of Henderson and a daughter, Janet Leigh Howell (Mike) of Henderson; two grandchildren, Malia Elizabeth Maness and Mattie Brooke Maness and three brothers, Ron Hilton (Nellie) of Cordova, Jeff Hilton (Jo) of Troy, AL and Greg Hilton of Jackson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 4th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Bro. Glenn Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday and 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM service time on Sunday.
